Mark 3 Medium - Nichols MokuTi Integral "Flow Bolster" and Sheild
Every year or three I get a wild hair up my butt and decide to do a mirror polished blade finish.... Maybe its the phase of the moon, or I think I have a better idea about how to do it, or maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment....
Anyhow, for what ever reason, I felt compelled to do one on the first of its kind listed here. It took me forever. It also took five times the abrasives of a regular satin finish blade, around 3/4 pounds of polishing compound, and some patience I didn't realize I had rattling around somewhere deep inside of me, but it is, hands down, the best mirror polish I have ever done to date.
Do you think it's worth the trouble?
